Kurt Busch fastest in second Sprint Cup practice for Bank of America 500

Kurt Busch claimed the fastest speed of the Sprint Cup Series’ second practice session for the Back of America 500.

Busch produced a top speed of 188.772 mph around Charlotte Motor Speedway during his 45 laps around the 1.5 mile track.

Stewart-Haas Racing has been the fastest in the first two of three sessions. Kevin Harvick was the quickest in Thursday’s session.

Following Busch was Carl Edwards (188.620), Ryan Newman (187.630), Martin Truex Jr. (187.572) and Joey Logano (187.487).

The only non-Chase driver in the top 10 was Jimmie Johnson in ninth.
