The first round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup has come and gone. Now it’s on to the second round, where the reduced field of 12 drivers will battle the next three races to reach the third round.

The second round will begin with Saturday night’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the first of back-to-back races on 1.5-mile tracks (followed next week at Kansas).

The Xfinity Series will race Friday evening at Charlotte, while the Camping World Truck Series is off until Oct. 24 race at Talladega.
