during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway on October 4, 2015 in Dover, Delaware.

Round one of the Chase for the Sprint Cup is done with Kevin Harvick advancing after his Dover win and Jimmie Johnson not.

The series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway - the opening race of the second round of the Chase - for Saturday night’s race on NBC.

The Chase field was cut from 16 to 12 after Sunday’s race at Dover International Speedway. Johnson, Jamie McMurray, Paul Menard and Clint Bowyer were eliminated from title contention. Their points were reset to 2000 and the points they earned in the first round were added to their total. Any driver eliminated before the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway can finish as high as fifth in the points.

The 12 remaining Chase drivers have their points reset to 3000. No bonus points carried over from wins earlier this season. The Chase field will be cut to eight drivers after the Oct. 25 race at Talladega Superspeedway.
