NASCAR weekend schedules for Dover, Las Vegas

The first elimination race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup takes place in Sunday’s AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway. The 16-driver Chase field will be cut to 12 after the race.

The Xfinity Series will race Saturday at Dover, while later that evening, the Camping World Truck Series will compete at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Here’s the weekend schedule (all times listed are Eastern):

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 – DOVER

6:30 am – 6 pm – Sprint Cup garage open
10:30 am – 6:30 pm – Xfinity garage open
11 am – 12:20 pm – Sprint Cup practice (NBCSN, Motor Racing Network)
12:25 pm – Sprint Cup qualifying inspection begins
1:30 – 3:25 pm – Xfinity final practice (NBCSN)
3:45 pm – Sprint Cup qualifying (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)


FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 – LAS VEGAS

4 pm – 8 pm – Truck garage open


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 – DOVER
