Drivers were quick to take to social media and respond in mainly a positive light following NASCAR’s announcement Thursday that restart zones will be doubled in size.
Among those chiming in on Twitter were Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson.
As yet, there has been no response from Brad Keselowski, who was penalized for jumping the restart in this past Sunday’s race at New Hampshire.
We’ll add more driver reaction as it becomes available.

👍🏼 should be even larger at the 1.5 mile tracks and plate tracks. Good change though. https://t.co/bCAy6ok1Vg

Glad to see @NASCAR expanding the restart zone. This is what a lot of drivers were asking for.

Great change by @nascar to double the restart zone. Gives leader more of a opportunity to decide when to start the race.

@NASCAR good decision. The leader should have an advantage for leading the race, this will help that.
