TaxSlayer.com announced Wednesday that it will extend its current Xfinity Series sponsorship with JR Motorsports.
TaxSlayer has been with JRM for the past seven seasons, mainly as one of the primary sponsors of the No. 7 Chevy, driven by Regan Smith since the 2013 season, as well as the No. 88 Chevy, which has been driven by several different drivers.
The company will sponsor 10 Xfinity Series races on both the No. 7 and No. 88 cars in 2016.
In addition, the company will also serve as primary sponsor for at least one Sprint Cup race on the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet driven by JRM co-owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.
“TaxSlayer is one of our longest-tenured sponsors at JR Motorsports,” Earnhardt Jr. said in a media release. “We’ve done great things together, and I’m really looking forward to racing a TaxSlayer car in Sprint Cup next year.”
JR Motorsports will mark its 12th season in the Xfinity Series in 2016. The Mooresville, N.C.-based company has earned 25 wins and one Xfinity Series championship in that time.
