Curt Schilling to give invocation for Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire

New Hampshire Motor Speedway announced today that the invocation for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race will be given by former Boston Red Sox pitcher and World Series champion Curt Schilling.

Schilling won three World Series in his career, in 2001 with the Arizona Diamondbacks, then in 2004 and ’07 with the Red Sox.

Schilling, an analyst for ESPN, was recently removed from the air for the rest of the MLB season following a controversial Tweet comparing Muslims to Nazis.
