Joe Gibbs Racing swept the front row for Friday night’s Xfinity Series Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Denny Hamlin and his No. 20 Toyota earned the pole with a speed of 126.896 mph around the half-mile track while teammate Kyle Busch placed second (126.312).

Hamlin has won twice this year in the Xfinity Series (Richmond, Loudon) and started from the pole each time.

The top five was completed by Kevin Harvick (126.021), Brian Scott (125.996) and series points leader Chris Buescher (125.699)

Ryan Blaney, who won Wednesday’s Camping World Truck Series race at Bristol, qualified sixth.
