WATCH LIVE: NASCAR America at 5 pm ET – looking ahead and back on key events

Today’s NASCAR America airs from 5 – 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with host Dave Briggs in Stamford, Conn., and Jeff Burton and Frank Stoddard at Burton’s Garage.

  • Jeff Burton weighs in on the news that Michael Waltrip Racing will not compete full-time in the Sprint Cup Series in 2016. Clint Bowyer, who sits inside the Chase at 16th, is free to pursue other opportunities after this season.
  • Throwback Thursday is in full swing as we look ahead to Bristol. Jeff Gordon will be throwing it back with one of the all-time greatest paint schemes – the rainbow-warrior paint scheme.  Gordon raced with the rainbow paint scheme from 1992-2000, earning three Sprint Cup titles in that stretch. Check out some other throwback paint schemes on NASCAR America as we get closer to Darlington.
