Seven NASCAR Xfinity teams to be docked practice time at Mid-Ohio

NASCAR announced Tuesday that seven Xfinity teams and one Camping World Truck Series team will be docked practice time this weekend for issues last weekend.

NASCAR announced that the Xfinity teams of Brian Scott (Richard Childress Racing), Alex Tagliani (Team Penske), Tomy Drissi (JGL Racing), Brandon Jones (Richard Childress Racing), Joey Gase (Jimmy Means Racing), Boris Said (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Ben Rhodes (JR Motorsports) will lose 15 minutes of practice this weekend at Mid-Ohio for being late out of the garage at Watkins Glen for inspection.

NASCAR also stated that the Camping World Truck Series team of Alex Bowman (JR Motorsports) will lose 15 minutes of practice time this weekend at Michigan for falling out of the inspection line at Pocono.

NASCAR announced Tuesday that the Sprint Cup cars it took the R&D Center for further post-race inspection after Watkins Glen - Joey Logano, Kyle Busch and Clint Bowyer - all passed inspection.
