Jeff Gordon seeks the pole today for Sunday’s Cheez-It 355 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen International after posting the fastest speed in practice Friday.
Gordon had a lap of 127.333 mph in the final practice session - best of the day’s two sessions. Clint Bowyer was next on the speed chart for the day at 127.067 mph with Kyle Larson next at 127.049 mph.
