After 80 laps of the 160-lap Brickyard 400, Kevin Harvick is the race leader. Harvick is leading a Stewart Haas Racing onslaught at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as teammate Tony Stewart is running second, and Danica Patrick is fifth.

Harvick is seeking his second career Brickyard 400 win, having won previously in 2003.

The fourth SHR driver, Kurt Busch, is struggling, being scored 23rd.

Brad Keselowski is up to third, followed by Carl Edwards and Patrick.

Sixth through 10th are Kyle Larson, Aric Almirola, Greg Biffle, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kasey Kahne.

Unfortunately, before he even reached the midpoint of Sunday’s 22nd Brickyard 400, Jeff Gordon’s last Brickyard was slated to end in disappointment.

Gordon, who won the first Brickyard in 1994, saw his hope of earning a record sixth Brickyard 400 win ended on Lap 50 when he was collected in Clint Bowyer’s spin.
