In three days Jeff Gordon will make his final start in the Brickyard 400, a race the four-time Sprint Cup Champion has won five times in his storied career.
As part of his farewell season before retiring, Gordon’s former hometown of Pittsboro, Ind. hosted a parade in his honor. The parade was originally supposed to be held the week of the race at Kentucky Speedway, but was postponed due to rain.
Here’s a social media look at the parade and ceremonies, where Indiana Governor Mike Pence declared Thursday “Jeff Gordon Day” in the entire state.
