Wednesday’s schedule for Mud Summer Classic Truck race at Eldora Speedway

Wednesday marks the third anniversary of NASCAR’s return to racing on dirt in the annual 1-800-CarCash Mud Summer Classic at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio (northwest of Dayton).

Austin Dillon took his Chevrolet truck to Victory Lane in the inaugural race at Tony Stewart’s dirt short track just northwest of Daytona, Ohio, in 2013. Darrell Wallace Jr. won last year’s race in his Toyota.

Everything from practice to qualifying to the actual main event takes place on race day, making for a rather long day.

Here’s Wednesday’s schedule (all times listed are Eastern):

9 am – Truck garage open

10:30 am – 11:25 am – Truck practice (Fox Sports 1)

11:30 am – 12:55 pm – Final truck practice (Fox Sports 1)

4:30 pm – Driver/crew chief meeting

5:15 pm – Truck qualifying (Fox Sports 2)

7 pm – Qualifying race No. 1 (10 laps) (Fox Sports 2)

7:09 pm – Qualifying race No. 2 (10 laps) (Fox Sports 2)

7:18 pm – Qualifying race No. 3 (10 laps) (Fox Sports 2)

7:27 pm – Qualifying race No. 4 (10 laps) (Fox Sports 2)

7:36 pm – Qualifying race No. 5 (10 laps) (Fox Sports 2)

8:15 pm – Last chance race (15 laps) (Fox Sports 1)

8:40 pm – Driver introductions

9 pm – 1-800-CarCash Mud Summer Classic race (75 miles, 150 total laps – divided into segments of 60, 50 and 40 laps) (Fox Sports 1, Motor Racing Network, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
