Carl Edwards maintains superiority at Loudon, fastest in final Sprint Cup practice

Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney paced the field in the final Sprint Cup practice Saturday in preparation for Sunday’s 5-Hour Energy 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Edwards, who will start Sunday’s race from the pole, had a top speed of 133.110 mph. He was one of five Toyota drivers with the fastest speeds in the final practice session.

Harvick (132.397 mph) and Blaney (132.213) were next fastest, followed by Kyle Busch (132.099), Denny Hamlin (132.035), Clint Bowyer (131.970), defending race winner Brad Keselowski (131.934), Kyle Larson (131.806), Matt Kenseth (131.719) and Joey Logano (131.692).
