Sprint Cup point standings after Coke Zero 400 at Daytona

In winning Sunday’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway, Dale Earnhardt Jr. made the biggest jump in the Sprint Cup points standings.

Earnhardt climbed from fifth to second place. Kevin Harvick remains the points leader, holding a 63-point edge over Earnhardt.

Jimmie Johnson climbed one spot to third, 67 points behind Harvick. Joey Logano dropped one spot to fourth, 75 points behind Harvick.

Former second-ranked Martin Truex Jr. dropped three spots to fifth place, now 87 points behind Harvick.

Kasey Kahne, who was involved in one of the four big wrecks in the race, also dropped three spots in the rankings to 11th place.

Jeff Gordon, appearing in his final race at Daytona, climbed one spot to 10th in the standings.
