Veteran crew chief Todd Parrott will be atop the pit box when Xfinity Series veteran Brian Scott competes in Sunday night’s Coke Zero 400 Sprint Cup race at Daytona International Speedway (televised on NBC).
Parrott serves as director of competition for Richard Childress Racing’s Xfinity Series teams.
It will be Scott’s 12th career Sprint Cup Series start, his second at Daytona and fifth Cup start of 2015.
Scott’s best career Cup start to date was on the pole at Talladega in April 2014. His best career Cup finish was 13th at Las Vegas earlier this year.
Scott will also race in Saturday night’s Subway Firecracker 300 Xfinity Series race at Daytona (on NBCSN).
