Front Row Motorsports announced Thursday on Twitter that Justin Marks will drive the team’s No. 34 car at Sonoma next week.
Marks, a California native who has road racing experience, has not made a Sprint Cup start this season. It will be his second career series start. He finished 30th at Sonoma in 2013 for Tommy Baldwin Racing.
Marks has run 11 career Xfinity races, including one this year, and 36 career Camping World Truck Series races, including one this year.
He started second at Daytona in the Xfinity Series and finished 34th this year. He started 27th and finished 32nd in the Truck race at Daytona.
Brett Moffitt has driven the No. 34 in the last five races with a best finish of 28th. The team confirmed that Moffitt will be back in the No. 34 car for the July 5 Sprint Cup race at Daytona International Speedway, which will be shown by NBC.
