On Saturday, Lindsey Giannini, the girlfriend of Xfinity Series driver Brennan Poole, won the Miss New Jersey competition.
A native of Hammonton, N.J., Giannini won the competition in her fourth attempt.
Poole drives the No. 42 Chevrolet for HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi and has competed in eight races in 2015.
“Well at least someone has won something this year!” Poole joked on Instagram.
Giannini will now go on to represent New Jersey in the Miss America pageant, which will be held Sept. 13 and air on ABC.
