Iowa Speedway announced Chris Soules, star of season 19 of The Bachelor and a part of season 20 of Dancing with the Stars, will be grand marshal of the Friday night’s Camping World Truck Series’ American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen.

Soules, who grew up 2.5-hours northeast of Iowa Speedway on a farm in Lamont, Iowa and attended Iowa State University, will give the command to start engines prior to the race.

“As a long-time Syngenta grower, it is a privilege to represent the organization and Growth Energy at this year’s 2015 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200,” said Soules in a release. “I am the third generation of our family owned and operated farm, and I am honored to be a part of Syngenta’s story. There is strength in diversity when it comes to fuel, and we need to support technology that provides home grown solutions to global energy needs. I’m particularly glad to be part of a great event in my backyard at Iowa Speedway.”

The American Ethanol 200 starts Friday, at 8:30 p.m. ET, on Fox Sports 1.
