Kevin Harvick is in command and leads at Lap 80, the halfway point of Sunday’s Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway.

Harvick, who qualified fifth, was the fastest driver in all three practice sessions this weekend.

Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. have both led twice for a race-high 31 laps each in the scheduled 160-lap event. Harvick took the point most recently on Lap 70.

There have been five leaders overall, with the average speed thus far being 145.937 mph.

There have been just two cautions (one for debris on Lap 49, the other for a single-car wreck by Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who got loose on Lap 68).

Dale Earnhardt Jr., who won both races at Pocono last year, is running second, followed by teammate Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth and outside pole sitter Carl Edwards.

Sixth through 10th are Truex, pole sitter Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin and Austin Dillon.

Joey Logano had to drop to the back of the field at the start for a gear replacement.
