He’s done it with Kevin James. Even with Shaq. Now, Adam Sandler will give the command to start engines solo when he serves as the grand marshal for the July 19 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Sandler, a native of Manchester, N.H., said in a statement: “When I was a little kid in New Hampshire, I used to watch NASCAR with my dad and brother and we looooved it. I know my dad would be baffled that I’m getting this honor, and I’ll be thinking of him when I’m saying those words! Great to be home! Always!”
The race will be five days before Sandler’s latest movie – “Pixels” – is in theaters.
The race will be on NBCSN.
