Austin Dillon tweeted a YouTube video today of his team at Richard Childress Racing creating the paint scheme for his No. 3 DOW Chevrolet that he will drive in two races this year.
The patriotic scheme honors more than 350 DOW employees who have served in the armed forces over the years and includes the names of many.
Dillon will drive the scheme this weekended at Dover International Raceway in the Fedex 400 benefiting Autism Speaks then the following week at Pocono Raceway in the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400.
The scheme debuts a week after every car in the Coca-Cola 600 featured a name on its windshield of person who had died while serving in the armed forces.
