As David Letterman airs his final show Wednesday, NBC Sports looks back at some of the show’s memorable moments with sports figures.
When asked about a special visit by a NASCAR personality, I went with Dale Earnhardt’s appearance after winning the 1998 Daytona 500 when he gave 10 reasons why it took him 20 years to win that race.
