Members of the NASCAR world gathered Tuesday to say goodbye to former NASCAR television reporter Steve Byrnes. Byrnes passed away on April 21 at the age of 56 after battling with cancer.
The funeral service was held at Calvery Church in Charlotte, N.C. and NASCAR family members took to social media to share their sentiments during and after the ceremony.
It's been a sad day but a good day, the Memorial Service for our dear friend @SteveByrnes12 was a great tribute to a wonderful friend! RIP
