Richard Childress Racing announced Monday night that rear tire changer Anthony O’Brien was released from a Richmond, Va., hospital.

O’Brien had been hospitalized since Friday night when he was injured in a pit fire as he was changing tires on Brendan Gaughan’s car during the Xfinity race at Richmond International Raceway.

Josh Wittman, gas man for Gaughan’s team, was released from the hospital Saturday night.

Clifford Turner, a member of Eric McClure’s JGL Racing crew, was released from the hospital Friday night. Turner was treated for inhaling the chemical sprayed from fire extinguisher as he helped O’Brien.
