Saturday morning and afternoon will be busy for both the Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway.
There will be two Sprint Cup practices in preparation for Sunday’s main event, the Food City 500 In Support of Steve Byrnes.
There also will be Xfinity qualifying before they go racing in the Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 Xfinity Series race.

SATURDAY, APRIL 18
5:30 am – Xfinity Series garage open
7 am – 1:30 pm – Sprint Cup garage open
8:30 am – 9:25 am – Sprint Cup practice (Fox Sports 1)
9:45 am – Xfinity Series qualifying (Fox Sports 1)
11:15 am – Xfinity driver/crew chief meeting
11:30-12:25 – Sprint Cup final practice (Fox Sports 1)
1 pm – Xfinity driver introductions
1:15 pm – All Sprint Cup cars must be parked in haulers
1:30 pm – Xfinity Series race – Drive to Stop Diabetes 300 (300 laps, 159.9 miles) (Fox Sports 1/PRN)
