The race weekend gets started a day early in Texas, particularly for the Xfinity Series, which has two practice sessions scheduled for Thursday afternoon and evening at Texas Motor Speedway.
While Sprint Cup cars will not be on-track, the Sprint Cup garage will be open for four hours for teams to begin prep work on their race cars in advance of Friday’s practice sessions and qualifying.
Here’s Thursday’s schedule:

1 pm – 10 pm – Xfinity garage open
3 pm – 7 pm – Sprint Cup garage open
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Xfinity practice (No TV)
6:30 pm – 8 pm – Xfinity final practice (No TV)
