A shock wave was felt in the NASCAR world Wednesday after NASCAR Talk reported Martinsville Speedway would replace Jesse Jones Southern Style Hot Dogs as the supplier for its “Famous Martinsville Speedway Hot Dog.”
While track president Clay Campbell said the look, taste and cost of the hot dog wouldn’t change with the new supplier, Valleydale Hot Dogs, fans still took to social media to voice their disapproval.
Thus far, of the two Twitter parody accounts, @MartvilleHotDog and @MvilleHotDog (dormant for 1,162 days), only the former has voiced their opinion on the change.
Yeah no I'm fine. Totally not having a meltdown or anything.

@MartinsvilleSwy How can you change the hot dogs there? Your sales will be hurt. I'm extremely disappointed by this decision.
