After winning Sunday’s Daytona 500, Joey Logano continued his red-hot driving Saturday morning, earning the pole for this afternoon’s Hisense 250 Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
In doing so, Logano pulled off a rare double, as on Friday he also qualified No. 1 for Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500.
Logano covered the 1.5-mile racing surface at a stout 184.162 mph. Qualifying No. 2 and No. 3 were Xfinity Series regulars Brian Scott (182.988) and Regan Smith (182.970).
