Today’s one-hour edition of NASCAR AMERICA will look back on a compelling Daytona 500 that saw Joey Logano take the biggest victory of his racing career.
You can watch at a special time of 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN, or STREAM IT for your online and mobile devices through NBC Sports Live Extra.
As part of today’s show, we’ll hear from the 500 champion as he makes his way through the media rounds in New York.
Also, NASCAR on NBC’s Marty Snider caught up with Roger Penske this morning at Daytona to get his thoughts on his second 500 win as a car owner.
Here’s what else is coming up today:
- Hendrick Motorsports was strong in the 500, but couldn’t pull out a victory for several reasons. We’ll look at how one late strategy error cost Dale Earnhardt Jr. a shot at back-to-back 500 wins, as well as the pit road penalty levied against Jimmie Johnson. Plus, we’ll focus on Jeff Gordon’s final 500, which had him lead a race-high 87 laps but get caught in a last-lap crash.
- NASCAR Talk‘s Nate Ryan will have the latest updates on the injured Kyle Busch and on Joe Gibbs Racing’s search for a replacement driver in Busch’s No. 18 Toyota.
- Plus, we’ll count down the top-five moments from NASCAR’s season-opening weekend.
