Kyle Busch appears ready to once again dominate the Xfinity Series in 2015 – even though he’s a full-time Sprint Cup driver.
In the first of two Xfinity Series practices on Friday afternoon, Busch set the pace with a top lap of 191.681 mph.
Busch led a contingent of Toyota drivers to take the three positions, followed by Justin Marks (190.496 mph) and Mike Wallace (190.018).
Fourth through 10th were Darrell Wallace Jr. (189.661), Ty Dillon (189.550), Regan Smith (189.482), JJ Yeley (189.446), Ryan Sieg (189.398), Ryan Reed (189.231) and Kyle Larson (189.231).
Defending series champion Chase Elliott was 24th fastest of the 44 drivers that took part in the practice session.
