Friday at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN, NASCAR AMERICA will exclusively reveal the 20 nominees for the NASCAR Hall of Fame Class of 2016 as well as the five nominees for the second Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR.
The reveal will set the stage for Voting Day on May 20, when five of the 20 nominees and the Landmark Award recipient will be named as the seventh Hall of Fame class by a 58-person Voting Panel.
The Panel is made up of the Nominating Committee plus a group of additional representatives that includes the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion (Kevin Harvick). In determining the Hall of Fame class, the Panel submits a total of 59 ballots, which includes one ballot from a nationwide fan vote.
