Clint Bowyer proved he was in a better mood Monday, a day after he crashed during qualifying for the Daytona 500 and criticized NASCAR for using the group qualifying format for the season-opening race. Series officials said they would not fine Bowyer for his comments.
The crash Sunday was Bowyer’s second in two days at Daytona International Speedway. He was involved in an incident during Saturday night’s wreck-filled Sprint Unlimited and finished 20th in the 25-car field.
There’s no track activity Monday or Tuesday – giving Bowyer a bit more free time to make more unique videos. Cars are back on the track Wednesday.
