A select few get to race around Bristol Motor Speedway in NASCAR competition.
A few more can take laps around the half-mile bullring in simulated competition like the one iRacing offers, but this week Parker Kligerman jumped in the NASCAR America simulator and took several laps around the track.
Now, everyone gets a chance to ride along.
“We’re about to get the green and this is one of the toughest places in the world to get the power down,” Kligerman said while sitting in the simulator. “Because once you get going it’s really easy to spin the tires.
“You might find a lot of drivers to be on the bottom at the start of the race because of that PJ1 that’s been applied. Sometimes, you might find yourself in the center on the outside being shoved up on a restart, and you’ve just got to make that work. The crazy thing about this place is it’s just chaos.”
