FORT WORTH, Texas -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start from the rear Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway after scrubbing the wall in practice, necessitating a backup car for the second consecutive Cup race.

The Roush Fenway Racing driver was seen and released from the infield care center after the incident in Turn 4 with his No. 17 Ford midway through a morning session in frigid conditions.

Stenhouse also needed a backup at Martinsville Speedway, where he finished 37th. He also started from the rear in a backup last month at Phoenix Raceway, finishing 23rd.
