Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Austin Dillon and Kasey Kahne have won this season and made it into the MENCS playoffs, but they're going to need to find more momentum if they hope to make it out of the first round.

Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Austin Dillon, Ryan Blaney and Kasey Kahne have all won one race this season.

And even though they’ve already qualified for the Cup playoffs, they’re all going to have to find momentum in the last two regular season races (Darlington and Richmond) to get a good start in the playoffs.

For example, Kurt Busch won the Daytona 500 but that was nearly six months ago.
He and his counterparts have to find a way to gain and build upon momentum if they hope to get past the first elimination round of the playoffs.
