Here’s a look at who the NBC Sports staff is picking to win today’s Cup race at Michigan International Speedway.
Nate Ryan
Kyle Busch. Only one top five here since his 2011 win and no top 10s at the 2-mile oval in his past seven starts. So he’s due for a very good finish.
Dustin Long
Clint Bowyer. He gets Stewart-Haas Racing back to victory lane for the first time since Kurt Busch’s Daytona 500 win.
Daniel McFadin
Jimmie Johnson will have to start from the rear in a backup car after his practice accident. You know what that means, right? Another win for man who has won everything.
Jerry Bonkowski
I picked Ryan Blaney to win last week at Pocono. But Sunday, I’m going with Kyle Busch, who breaks through for his first win since last year’s Brickyard 400 and Joe Gibbs Racing’s first win of 2017.
