Rookie Justin Haley fastest in first Truck practice at Kansas Speedway

GMS Racing’s Justin Haley was fastest in the first of two Camping World Truck Series practice sessions at Kansas Speedway.

Almost two weeks after his 18th birthday, which allows him to compete on intermediate tracks, Haley posted a top speed of 178.235 mph. He made 31 laps in the session in his No. 24 Chevrolet.

Filling out the top five was Christopher Bell (177.445), Johnny Sauter (177.427), Noah Gragson (177.235) and Matt Crafton (176.725).

Chase Briscoe, who was ninth fastest, recorded the most laps at 35.
