NASCAR America live at 5:30-6:30 pm ET on NBCSN: ‘Dega stages, Alonso debut

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Marty Snider, Kyle Petty, Steve Letarte and Nate Ryan will join us from NBC Charlotte.

On today’s show:

  • NASCAR returns to restrictor-plate racing this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. How will the new stage format fare in its debut at the sport’s biggest track? Will it take an already pressure-packed race to a new level? Kyle Petty and Steve Letarte weigh in with their thoughts.
  • We take one more look back at Joey Logano’s win at Richmond in a special Wednesday edition of Scan All.
  • We hit the halfway mark of our series - My Home Track: 50 states in 50 shows. Today we visit Missouri and Lebanon I-44 Speedway, where Joplin, Mo., native Jamie McMurray has some special memories of going wheel-to-wheel with a NASCAR short-track icon.
  • We’ll let you know how two-time Formula One champ Fernando Alonso did in his highly anticipated test session at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for this month’s 101st running of the Indianapolis 500.
