NASCAR America at 5:30 p.m. ET: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. interview, 50 states: Iowa

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs for an hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The show will recap the first seven Cup races of the year and take a closer look at the career of one Roush Fenway Racing driver.

Carolyn Manno hosts in Stamford, Connecticut. Steve Letarte and Greg Biffle join her from Burton’s Garage.

What to expect from today’s show:

  • Six winners in seven races makes for plenty of stars in our Victory Lane Review of the 2017 Cup Series season. Plus, we will take a deeper dive into how drivers are earning their points under the new enhanced format and the different strategies that can lead to a playoff berth.
  • Ricky Stenhouse Jr. reflects on his past and shares who made the difference for him while he was growing up in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

  • My Home Track: 50 States in 50 Shows stays in the Midwest today and visits Iowa. It’s the home of our own Krista Voda and hosts some of the country’s biggest races on both asphalt and dirt.
