NASCAR has canceled Cup Series qualifying and the final Camping World Truck Series practice at Martinsville Speedway after an afternoon of rain at the short track.

The starting grid for Sunday’s STP 500 will be set by points, with Kyle Larson on the pole and Chase Elliott starting second.

Filling out the top five is Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano.

It will be the second week in a row Larson has started from the pole.

The cancellation of the rest of Friday’s schedule means the first use of Martinsville’s LED lighting system will have to wait for another day.
