UPDATE: Goodyear has canceled the tire test scheduled for April 4 and 5 at Michigan International Speedway due to the threat of weather in the forecast. The test hasn’t been rescheduled yet.

Michigan International Speedway is throwing its doors open for race fans during next week’s Goodyear tire test.

Danica Patrick (Ford), Paul Menard (Chevrolet) and Martin Truex Jr. (Toyota) are the drivers scheduled to take part on Tuesday, April 4 and Wednesday, April 5.

MIS is one of the fastest racetracks on the NASCAR Cup circuit. The test will be held to evaluate various rubber compounds for the June 18 FireKeeper’s Casino 400 and August 13 Pure Michigan 400.

Fans can attend next week’s test and watch from the Turn 1 grandstand. The track will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.

Admission and parking (in Lot 10) are both free. The entrance will be through Gate 17.
