Here’s who the NBC Sports staff is picking in today’s NASCAR Cup race at Auto Club Speedway:

Nate Ryan

Kyle Busch. Dustin already asked me to pick a winner Monday, and though I’m tempted to choose pole-sitter Kyle Larson, I’ll stick with my original selection for the same reasons initially given.

Dustin Long

After coming close multiple times, Chase Elliott scores his first career Cup win today.

Daniel McFadin
It seems everybody but me has picked Kyle Larson to win a race so far this season. Larson capitalizes on his second Cup pole and becomes the first pole-sitter to win a race since Denny Hamlin last September at Richmond.

Jerry Bonkowski

Even though he never has won a Cup race there, Fontana is one of Denny Hamlin’s favorite race tracks. Hamlin is looking for not only his first win at Auto Club Speedway but also his first Cup triumph of 2017 -- and both happen Sunday.
