The third and final segment of NASCAR’s western swing concludes this weekend at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. It is the only race weekend at Fontana this season.

Here are the preliminary lists for both races:

Cup Series – Auto Club 400

For the fourth straight NASCAR Cup race (Atlanta, Las Vegas, Phoenix and now Fontana), there are 39 cars on the entry list. A full field is a maximum of 40 cars.

This will be the 28th NASCAR Cup race held at the suburban Los Angeles track. The event will be 200 laps for 400 miles.

Jimmie Johnson is the defending winner of this race. In fact, Johnson leads all active drivers with six wins at the two-mile oval about 50 miles east of Los Angeles.

Xfinity Series – California 300

The 28th Xfinity Series race to be held at Fontana takes place Saturday with the California 300.

A preliminary entry list of 42 drivers and cars is entered for the event. Only 40 cars will qualify for the race.

Only one TBA is on the entry list: a crew chief is not listed yet for the No. 172 Chevrolet Camaro of John Jackson.

Austin Dillon is defending winner of the 150-lap, 300-mile race. Kyle Busch is the winningest active driver at Fontana in the Xfinity Series with six victories.
