NASCAR America live at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN: Harvick, Dale Jr., Phoenix preview

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5:30 – 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Carolyn Manno and Parker Kligerman host from our Stamford, Connecticut studio, while Steve Letarte will join us from Burton’s Garage.

Among the things we’ll focus on in today’s show:

* Things are going to heat up in the desert this weekend for sure. Like 95 degrees worth! Sizzling temperatures await NASCAR in its second stop out West at Phoenix – just one more challenge at a track that has plenty on its own! Parker and Steve weigh in with their insights.

* Kevin Harvick has had some bad luck to start the 2017 season, but is coming to his most successful track. He’s won six of the last nine Cup races there and leads all active drivers with eight wins overall on the one-mile oval. We’ll hit the film room to break down how Happy has been so successful at Phoenix through the years.

* We take a stroll down “Memory Lane” with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rutledge Wood, and a box of trading cards.
