Chase Elliott tops final Truck Series practice at Atlanta

Chase Elliott was the fastest in the final Camping World Truck Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Driving the No. 23 for GMS Racing, Elliott put up a speed of 179.557 mph around the 1.54-mile track.

The Active Pest Control 200 will be Elliott’s 11th start in the Truck Series.

Filling out the top five was Chase Briscoe (179.076), Christopher Bell (179.076), John Hunter Nemechek (178.804) and Noah Gragson (178.781).

Briscoe posted the best 10-lap average at 176.341 mph.
