NASCAR America live at 5:30 p.m. ET: The Elliott family, Kaz Grala interview

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 5:30 - 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN and gives you a final preview of this weekend’s action at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Carolyn Manno hosts from Stamford, Connecticut and is joined by Steve Letarte and Greg Biffle from Burton’s Garage.

Here’s what to expect from today’s episode:

· Chase Elliott is right at home this week with the NASCAR Cup Series race in Atlanta. We take a deeper dive into his family’s Georgia roots, and also discuss his chances of getting his first Cup Series win this season.

· 18-year-old high school senior Kaz Grala won last weekend’s Camping World Truck Series opener at Daytona. Dave Burns catches up with the Massachusetts native to talk about his big victory.

· Atlanta brings our first look at the Cup Series’ new 2017 rules package, which reduces downforce on the cars even further. How will that impact drivers on Atlanta’s rough surface? Steve Letarte and Greg Biffle share their insight.
