DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Matt Crafton was uninjured after a last-lap accident sent his truck airborne on the backstretch before it landed on the back of Johnny Sauter’s truck in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway.
Crafton was leading but was clipped on the right rear by teammate Ben Rhodes, who was being pushed by teammate Grant Enfinger. A shove from Enfinger caused Rhodes to lose control of his vehicle and turn into Crafton, triggering the incident.
Kaz Grala, 18, won the race, becoming the youngest driver in any of NASCAR’s national series to win at Daytona.
