Finished outside the top 10 four times ... Finished in top 10 in 16 of last 18 races ... Recorded no DNFs.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Crew chief Kevin Meendering was suspended for the championship race after violating NASCAR’s lug nut rule ... Finished off the lead lap just twice (Bristol I, Charlotte II) ... Finished outside the top 20 once (Charlotte II).

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: Returns to the No. 1 car at JR Motorsports as the senior veteran driver of the four full-time drivers.
